The legendary illustration book is back with new works by Kawada Hisao illustrating the world of Eiichi Ohtaki !

This illustrated book, originally published to accompany Eiichi Ohtaki's instrumental collection "NIAGARA SONG BOOK 2," celebrating the label's 50th anniversary, has been resized and re-edited with some illustrations different from the original.

The book showcases the unparalleled world of music scores and lyrics from Ohtaki's works, fused with illustrations by Hisao Kawata, who played a key role in Niagara's visual image in the 1980s, including the cover art for Ohtaki's only chart-topping album, "EACH TIME." At the end of the book is a mini-interview with Kawata, in which he discusses his own Niagara works.

About the Author:

Hisao Kawada: Born in Iiyama, Nagano Prefecture in 1947. After graduating from art school, he worked at an architectural firm and a design company before going independent as a freelance illustrator. Starting with Naoya Matsuoka's "FALL ON THE AVENUE ~ In a strange town" he has worked on numerous album jackets and book illustrations, including works by Eiichi Ohtaki.
