Born and raised in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, New York Daniel Stewart has always known that he wanted to be a part of the Music Industry. He started rapping at age 11, but did not start singing professionally until the age of 17.A few years later Daniel began playing the keyboard, the guitar and recording his own vocals. In the Spring of 2004 Daniel Stewart (Young Decent) became tired of doing things his own way. Hanging with the wrong people and singing music that was meaningless left Daniel feeling empty and unfulfilled. One night when writing a song he realized that there could only be one way and that was God's way. Since giving his life over to Jesus and faithfully going to Church he is full of Peace, Joy and Purpose. Daniel Stewart (Young Decent) is currently a member and active Minister of Music at Onward Ministries in Brooklyn, New York where he serves together with his Pastor Barbara Williams - Harris. Here is a list of his most recent accomplishments: *Completed his Debut Album 'God's Way' *Starred in an off Broadway Play *Scored Music for an Independent Film titled 'Life through Dance' *Is currently teaching Music to Inner City Youth in a Bronx Middle School.
