Vol.I-Chronicles of A06: The Dark Tower of Cypher on CD

There is a vast universe out there. Billions of stars and planets undiscovered by humans. We may never know everything that exists out there... but maybe it's something like The Chronicles Of A06. It all started with one Matt Meylikhov, who wrote the story. It tells the tale of a robot assassin who gains conscious thought. "I got tired of writing personal songs about my own life," said Matt. "It's just not all that interesting. And I've always loved concept albums, so I figured I would give it a shot myself. And I ended up writing about a robot." Creating an album of acoustic demos, Matt played songs for friends for a while before eventually working with Casey Crescenzo of The Dear Hunter, who produced the CD, to create the first volume in this six part saga, titled The Dark Tower Of Cypher Lecleur. In this album, we see the "awakening" of A06 and the actions that he takes which set forth into motion the changing of his entire universe. Included in his adventure is Jack, a young man with nothing to lose, and Lydia, a mysterious winged-humanoid who is more than meets the eye. Together, they travel to the tower of villainous Cypher Lecleur, who created A06, to end his evil once and for all. A06, now more widely known for their absolutely electric live shows, combines catchy melodies and intricate guitar riffs in a blend that is the reason listeners come back for more. "Harmonies are important to me, both in the vocals and in the guitar parts, and since I was the only one working on the first album, I made sure to have all the parts interlocked with one another." But it doesn't just stop with the music. "There is a lot I want to do with this story. I want to find an interesting way to convey the story I wrote and am playing around with several ideas. But all in all, it should be fun. I'm insanely dedicated to this project and have a lot to offer."
