Enter the Scorpion on CD

Toronto - With the release of his third independently produced CD under the Ghetto Panda label, Toronto native Bryan Van Dusen is excited to invite you to join him and ENTER THE SCORPION! Bryan Van Dusen (BVD) is a multi-talented writer/artist/entertainer who creates original and dynamic, sometimes controversial though always mind opening, music, art and design. He has previously released two other albums; 2002's Bryan Van Dusen is Mann E Face and the 2005 college chart topper Don't Try This At Home but 2008's ENTER THE SCORPION is Van Dusen's best collection of songs to date and includes the vast talents of famed guests; Major Maker, Mindbender, Natalie Donnelly, Sophia Perlman, Kenny Neal Jr, Christopher Estridge, Mark McKay and Slackah The Beatchild. Enter The Scorpion is a hearty brew of 15 diverse and exciting tracks revealing more of Van Dusen's unique insights, intricate rhymes and clever lyrical wordplay. Chock-a-block with catchy pop tunes like Talk To You f, Major Maker, the stirring social-political commentary of Brokeback Gangster f. Mindbender, and Our Home And Native Land, the humorous Side Effects f. Kenny Neal Jr and the inspiring, operatic, Rainy Days With Silver Linings f. Natalie Donnelly, this is truly Van Dusen's most honest and personal album to date. As Van Dusen pushes his craft to it's pinnacle, he too reveals ever more of himself through his musical poetry, which he describes as "Neo-Urban Folk". Most recently, BVD rediscovered his love of acting during the production of the independent feature film INTO THE LABYRINTH. Written by famed Canadian composer Raymond Leudeke and co-starring Gemini and Genie award winning actress, Jackie Bourroughs. Van Dusen not only portrays the male lead, he also created and performed several additional story arcs for the script, excelled in the role of the narrator and wrote the theme song to the movie, which is included on the ENTER THE SCORPION album. And now, with many thanks and great pleasure, BRYAN VAN DUSEN and GHETTO PANDA invite you to... ENTER THE SCORPION -=bvd=-.
