BIO: Being born in North Carolina in the 50's, the only daughter of five children and the baby definitely had an impact on my life. Both my parents were hard working, yet they had a deep love for each other and their children. I grew up listening to country/gospel music. As far back as I can remember, my relatives along with friends would gather on someone's front porch with various instruments in hand (guitar, banjo, harmonica, steel guitar) or anything that could make a sound. They would play & sing for hours. One of the 1st songs I am told that my father sang to his children is ......'You Are My Sunshine'. As a child I remember going to church with dinner on the grounds & good gospel singing. I have always loved music. It is a way in which I believe God speaks to and thru an individual. We become an instrument or vessel thru which the 'Love of God' can be heard & felt. In 2005 I was diagnosed with cancer and underwent surgery, followed by (6) weeks of radiation. Not knowing if my grand-children would get to know me, I decided to record a couple songs I had written (No Vacancy) & (He Was Born to Die) along with other songs I had sang through the years in churches, camp meetings, nursing homes, county jails, prisons & at street services. I wanted them to get to know the Lord and feel the joy that He has brought into my life. So many miracles,so many blessings. He allowed me to be a mother to a child I could not concieve. My life is no different than each of you, joys and heartache, peace and pain, mountain tops and valleys; but through it all 'God' has stood faithfully by my side. He never left me, even when I faltered, he loved me still. The greatest words any human could ever hear is 'Well done' my child, Welcome Home'.....those words I want to hear someday, when my work here on earth is finished...so if you should make that journey before me.....'Look for Me'...for I will be there too! God bless & keep you is my prayer. Susan Earle Acknowlegement & Dedication I would like to dedicate these songs to all my family & friends who have been an encouragement along the way. Many friends have requested a compilation of the various songs I have sang throughout the years, so to you.... I say 'Thanks' for being my inspiration. Thank you, 'Chad Watson' for the incredible job you did during this whole production process. From our first conversation, listening to my vocals to the music arrangements & coordination of the musician's & finally for allowing me to just 'be me'. Your work is very professional, yet in tune with the 'artist'. Please don't ever lose that 'touch'. It defines you! I would also like to thank the musician's: Chris Cooke, Mark Margucci, Vern Monett & Chad Watson who worked on this project with me You did a 'great job' A 'Big' 'Thank You' to: Pam Loe, Chad Watson & Licia Watson for a beautiful job on backup vocals. Stephen Valaneuva, your hospitality & workmanship was 'great', thank you so much for the use of your studio. Richard Barron, you did a wonderful job on the final master-cut.
