The Second Chance Gospel Music Convention, Inc is a non-profit organization with a mission to project the gospel of Christ thru music; in so doing, create opportunities for inner-city teens and young people between the ages of 12 - 20. Since it's foundation in March of 1999, Second Chance has become one of the leading gospel music groups in New York City, successfully competing against other leading gospel groups across the nation and securing a finalist position at the McDonald's Gospel fest 2005; hosted by the legendary Aretha Franklin, Donnie McKlurkin, Vicky Winans, among other gospel artists. The organization has been featured many times in the news media in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area for musical and inner-city empowerment initiatives and contributions to the community.
