Getting Better Every Minute on CD

Hello everyone. You probably don't need to know all that boring background stuff on me so I thought I'd just tell you what I think you'd most like to know as honestly as I can. My mission with my art is 'Uniting diverse groups of people through the power of positive music' although that mission seems to expand every time I perform. I call my music 'Inspo-pop', the first of a new genre I hope will continue to grow into mainstream popularity. The messages are of a universal spiritual nature which I hope will appeal to any 'conscious' belief system, and have a running theme of peace and non-violence in them. (Perhaps it's my Middle Eastern ancestry that motivates that part of me.) The music is mainstream pop, fully produced, professionally done. (Think of listening to Elton John sing about God and Peace.) Though I don't claim to have Elton's voice, I have been compared to him, as well as Billy Joel, Randy Newman, and the best compliment of all, Brother Ray Charles. Much of my music has been designed for group singing because I perform at a lot of New Thought churches and conferences. My musical exposure is very wide so though I classify my music as 'Pop' there is a lot of variety in the styles. I consider myself a songwriter first, singer second and musician third. I spent 22 years in Nashville TN where I was exposed to and wrote with some of the best writers on the planet. I then spent the last 5 years as Music and Creative Arts Coordinator at Unity Village, a spiritual retreat center and world headquarters for Unity churches in the Kansas City area entertaining retreatants from all over the world. I have produced or co-produced a total of 7 albums, four of them my own. I have been told that this latest one on CD Baby is my best! Enjoy. Pray for peace. RM.
