Little Heroes on CD

Ray DeLaPaz was a political prisoner as a child in Fidel Castro's Cuba during the early 60's. By the time he got back to America, he had forgotten how to speak English, but picked it up again from Beatle's pop songs which were sweeping the airwaves. With the world beat rhythms of Cuba in his blood, he began to experiment with writing his own music. He didn't just want to write sappy love songs. He wanted to write songs about changing the world. It all comes together on 'little heroes'. If you feel like what you do won't change the world, or you feel like you can't change your life, or you feel there's nobody out there like you; 'little heroes will change your mind. There are plenty of us out there. Tell your friends we're taking back this world. Because there's one thing even the most powerful politicians are afraid of: the power of music. The incredible musicians who played on 'little heroes' have also graced the music of the following artists: The Doobie Brothers, Smokey Robinson, Carlos Santana, Madonna, Diana Ross, Sheena Easton, Djavan, Ivan Lins, Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine, Leon Russell, Oscar Castro-Neves, Phil Perry, Al Jarreau, George Benson, Herb Alpert, Gilberto Gil, Jorge Benjor, Sergio Mendes, Rickie Lee Jones and Frank Sinatra. 'Ray's ability to turn life's pain into positive songs is what makes him a great songwriter.' John Sebastian The Lovin' Spoonful People are wondering where all the real music has gone. Here it is!' Ron Powell World -Renown Percussionist.
