Hell or High Water on CD

Porter was born in Louisville Kentucky. Born to a Croation mother and an African father. His father was one of the first Black politicians in Louisville and an avid rider of horses. His mother was a civil rights activist and writer. Both contributed heavily in the formation of Porter's music. When listening to Porter's debut album 'Hell Or High Water' you will immediatly recognize the 'Kentucky' in him and his music. Porter has been making music and writing lyrics since the age of 16. His mother raised him on a daily dose of Motown and anything driven by soul. He has created a solid base of music in HipHop as well and continues to expand beyond and push the limits of his own expression. He now lives in downtown Los Angeles and has finished his first album written and produced by himself. Porter's music is progressive & soulful, his lyrics are honest and very original. His deep baritone voice is both sexy and engaging. The music provides the perfect atmosphere for his stories and invites you to experience a mans thoughts and emotions through music. This is future soul music. Along the same lines as SEAL & Everlast but so unique that you will know a Porter song as soon as you hear his voice. Have a listen and enjoy the beginning of something very special. A new voice. A new face. A new sound. An old soul has finally found it's instrument.
