Up 'N High on CD

Whether you call it 'fate' or 'destiny' or 'a calling,' the fact is that some people are born to sing and create music. The Swedish and Stockholm based multi-talented singer, songwriter, musician, arranger and producer, falls with no doubt in this category of people. Whereas Paul discovered that he had the talent to sing at a very early age, the biggest revelation of his inner passion for music came when he at the age of twelve discovered Stevie Wonders's album "Songs In The Key Of Life" in his mothers record shelf. As opposed to many, Paul's love for music has over the years overshadowed his hunger to succeed in the music industry. He opted to take his time to develop his craft as well as give himself time to mature in thought. His new album "Up 'N High" is not only testimony of this maturity but also the unveiling of one of Sweden's exceptionally gifted artists. The Up 'N High album is a compilation of 11 completely refreshing and magnetizing songs written and co-produced by Paul M together with his good mate Mats Berntoft. It's intense, emotional, energetic, soft and gental all at the same time. The Music is a modern interpretation of Soul. Inspiration comes all the way from soul classics to modern urban R&B. It is evident however, when one listens to the Up 'N High album that Paul has succeeded in creating his own identity and integrity musically. The more one listens to the Up 'N High album, the more secrets it reveals creating a personal relationship with each listener as it keeps growing and growing.
