Lighten Up on CD

OFFWORLDs 'Lighten Up' is a three track EP of diverse and contrasting songs. 'Sign of the Times', is a memorable mid tempo melodic rock song with depth and optimism. A haunting melody.....with a meaningful guitar solo that ozzes feel. 'Twenty First Century Girl' .....a driving snappy pop rock song with strong hooks and edgy guitar..... 'Movin On'...Jeremy wrote this song while feeling a little stir crazy! It's a song with a bluesy restless feel reminiscent of 'film noir' train journeys with a nod at American Gothic, complete with rocking keyboards by Sally. Jeremy Nagle is ex lead guitarist and song writer with Megaton, a London based rock band. He co wrote 'Aluminium Lady'. It reached no.8 in the British Heavy Metal Charts and was extensively played by the B.B.C. and other radio stations in England and Europe. It's now a collectors item, so if you have a copy, it's valuable! He also worked in the studio with many famous names, including Mick Tucker, the drummer with Sweet. Well known for his impressive guitar playing and song writing, he joined Driveshaft and they released 'Live Cutz', which was critically very well received and sustained widespread radio airplay. He toured extensively opening for Rory Gallagher, Saxon, The Michael Schenker Group and Philip Lynotts Grand Slam. He also opened for Dr.Feelgood, Girlschool, Horslips and many others. Sally O'Brien, is ex keyboard player with Airspace. A techno whiz......with an intuitive feel. She is classically trained and has a keen interest in the technological side of music creation.
