Head Nod Satisfaction on CD

On Higher Elevation (O.H.E.) Are you superstitious? Do you believe in the seven-year curse of bad luck if you break a mirror or the curse of bad luck if a black cat crosses your path? Well, BlacKatz are crossing the paths of many and changing the negative images associated with BlacKatz. O.H.E. followed the footsteps of many artists before them because they grew up, went to school and fell in love with the music of their generation. As they grew, so did their talent, but the odds were stacked against them. Not just because of the nature of making it in the entertainment industry, but also because of where they were beginning to make their mark. Raeford, North Carolina is the place where Johnathan Bratcher a.k.a. JB the Mesenga, and Shavass Love a.k.a. Tiny Biggs began to make their marks on walls that served as barriers before them. They did the standard things most artists did like, local talent shows and perform with local DJ's. They were not trying to reinvent the wheel, they were trying to make it better. They were lucky enough to sign with BlacKatz Entertainment and they have been winning the hearts of their fans ever since. After signing with BlacKatz Entertainment, O.H.E. immediately moved to the Washington D.C. area and began working on their first album Genesis, a compilation album with their label mates which was truly the beginning for them. After it's release, O.H.E. began to showcase their talent to the world. They went back to Raeford and hosted their own talent show for aspiring artists, hosted and performed at Music Tuesday, a music networking party, performed at the Philly BikeFest in Philadelphia, P.A., performed in Maryland and across the state of North Carolina especially in their hometown of Raeford. O.H.E. was interviewed and performed at Winston-Salem State University and celebrated selling over 2,025 units in the underground market for their last album.. O.H.E. recently finished recording their forthcoming album 'Head Nod Satisfaction' scheduled for release in October 2002. Even though they were happy with their first release, O.H.E. will creep into the hearts of many more their second time around. People say everything done in the dark will eventually come to light, well, O.H.E. only dwell in darkness to enlighten nations with their music.
