Nursing a Hangover with the Meat Packers on CD

The year was 1993. A young boy, age 7, needed money for cigarettes. He was a delinquent, and had started smoking just recently. His name was William James Daunt III. Upon noticing another boy, older by one year, he set his mind on taking this lad's money. This boy's name was Smith. And so met the Meat Packers. Needless to say, they didn't hit it off too well at first, but as time progressed they became good mates. As the years went on they decided that music was the best way to spend a day skipping school, and they filled their minds with the music of the Clash and the Kinks (the TRUE fathers of punk). After about a year of listening to these records, they set in their minds to start a band. Smith began playing drums, and Billy started on his father's old guitar (the only thing he ever got from his father other than a headache). On the subject of headaches, everyone who heard these two play would get one. They were pretty terrible at this point. Once they got a drummer their sound evened out, and Smith, who had been learning guitar, began playing guitar as well as singing. As the years rolled on band members came and went, drummers and bassists, a guy who played a mean punk mandolin, a saxophone player, and a guy who insisted that kazoos were the next big thing in punk. However through all that time the two central figures of the Meat Packers remained the same, Smith and Billy. They have now moved from the UK to America on board a modern day Mayflower called United flight 904. They currently reside in San Francisco, but who knows how long that will last, they're known for being unpredictable (they got drunk one night and decided to move to LA... true story). Their LP 'Nursing and Hangover with The Meat Packers' will be available online and at concerts Nov. 9th, 2005. The boys will be on the road for the majority of 2006, so get ready!
