BIO After graduating from the Barbizon School of Drama and Modeling in Portland, Oregon, Ne've went on to do print, commercial and runway work for a short stint in Manhattan, NY coming home to continue print and commercial modeling while collaborating with jazz, trance, house musicians. Ne've has over 10 years experience in the music business and was trained classically from the age of 12 with Mr. Barry Berdaul. Competing in state operatic solo competitions and performing in various Beaverton and Hillsboro, Oregon Oktoberfests helped her come of age for the stage. Her first large stage productions were Saturday's Warrior and a production of Handle's Messiah. After coming home to Portland in 1998 she was invited to sing for the Portland Opera's AGMA chorus in their 2000-2001 season, performing in Carmina Burana and Pagliacci staring Stella Zambalis and Tonio Di Paolo. She coupled that performance with the St. Matthews Holiday Mass and has appeared on Oregon Cable Access with Obo Addy in Kukrudu and Okrapong at the The Crystal Ball Room for the World Aids Project fundraiser and for the African Arts Foundations Homowo Festival in 2002 Her current highlights are her debut album Table Mirrors featuring the rock opera Persephone released this past May 2005 and the Table Mirrors tour. Her forthcoming album The Red Cabinet Confessionals is due spring 2006. She can be heard on local radio FM broadcasts such as 90.7 FM KBOO in Portland, Oregon. And has appeared on KMUN 91.9 FM in Astoria, Oregon. Her first television solo appearance is scheduled for this August on JCT Television. You can also spy her full spread in their July and August editions of their magazine- JCT Magazine. Her company Maat Music,(founded in 2003) which translates as "true of voice" in ancient Egyptian continues to provide intuitive arts, healing and lectures while producing her musical projects.
