Description

Neon Blue on CD

Neon Blue is an Ontario, Canada based new country act. Fronted by Mark Doney (lead vocals/ songwriter) and brother Sean, the band performs their own brand of new, traditional and alternative country music. Their new self-titled debut CD consists of 10 original songs that range in style from traditional ballads to modern and upbeat country. The CD has something for any country music fan and has received national airplay on Canada's CBC Radio and on any number of college & independent radio stations. Canada's premiere country music publication, 'The Country Music News' draws comparisons of the band's music to the early works of the Eagles and to the Good Brothers. On the heels of their successful debut single 'Thank God For The Simple Man', the band's second effort 'One Lonely Night' has been rapidly climbing the overall ECMA charts. The single has also had much success at the national level in Europe ( #3 in the U.K., # 5 in Ireland with numerous other top 10 standings). Also worth noting, the band has re-released their debut single on 'Glory Train Records' and is beginning to receive a great deal of positive feedback and airplay from DJ's in the U.S.. The band is currently in the process of working up new material to begin the recording of their sophomore CD in 2010 and for the release of their first official single to Canadian radio.
