My Hope on CD

The Musician Mulopo Mulomede was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo former (Zaire). He grew up with music in his family and his mother used to put him to bed with her melodic singing voice. While growing up, Mulomede joined the Choir at age 8 and started singing in a neighborhood musical group at age 13. Him and his older brother Mukuna Muamba Kabanga (Bel Canto) used to play music using metal buckets, tins, and the home made guitars that they built themselves using metal tins, pieces of wood and nylon strings mostly used for fishing lines. Mukuna is now a professional Musician in France and his main instrument is the Bass Guitar. Mulopo taught himself how to play several instruments such as keyboard, guitar, traditional drums, thumb piano, and of course singing. He is a composer, an arranger, and a recording engineer. He enjoys mixing different instruments and different styles to get a good flavor. His music conveys the message of brotherhood, love, and unity. He sings in different languages as he speaks quite a few of them. One good thing about his music is the blending of African and Western musical influences into one musical cocktail. His music is very easy to listen to and everyone finds several songs to like and enjoy. He believes in the Baha'i Faith that teaches the Unity of God, the Unity of Religion, and the Unity of Mankind.
