Miss Shirley Sees Greatness in You on CD

Hello Dears, My name is Miss Shirley... and I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm on a quest to find character. What is my definition of character? It's that l-i-i-i-i-ittle voice inside that tells us the difference between right and wrong. My grandmother always used to say, everybody has gifts...some you can see and some you can't see. I want to teach children to be curious... to find out what every other child's special gifts are...and then ...learn to appreciate those gifts. When we can appreciate the gifts of others around us...we have learned not only to support and care for them...but to like and believe in ourselves as well. I'm looking to find the greatness in every child I meet! Greatness stands for Goals, Responsibility, Enjoy your Environment, Act as If, Tell the Truth, Never give up, Express yourself with Empathy, Share, and Smile. Learning to put yourself in someone else's shoes and care about other people's feelings is a very important lesson for children to learn. Children must learn empathy before adulthood because without empathy we create a society of people who think they can make it on their own... with no accountability to anyone! I can't think of a quicker way to lose that which makes us all so special. Alone we are weak but together we become strong! We all want to be successful in life, don't we? Yeeees! As Michael Josephson says, 'If success is about achievements...significance is about impact!' I say why not both?...We need to make a significant impact on the children in our lives if they are to grow to be successful! Love, Miss Shirley (I see Greatness in you!)
