Pesante on CD

Metaliano is a studio outfit with music based on long guitar solos with some incredible sound engineering the compromiseless guitar hero style leaves little space for other instruments but the drums are as imaginative and inventive as in 70s metal Metaliano is meant to be a spoof spoofing itself, creating crafty songs that clearly point to where it comes from, while being joyous, boisterous even, with no consideration whatsoever for corporate radio indeed, Metaliano is open defiance against corporate radio and delves deep into the 70s, with production techniques straight out of Led Zeppelin albums the ultimate track, dark angel libido, is a 12' opus combining the best of Black Sabbath while creating a new genre: dark angst metal the whole thing is neatly produced by Gino Ferrara who has such an individual style as a producer that, though it does sound like Satriani, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix etc, it sounds mostly like Gino Ferrara producing Metaliano another most important feature is the guitars and their preparation; they are old guitars from the 80s, customized by Gino Ferrara to produce sounds no-one can by in a shop, and they are the only photos of the booklet! Hey, why not sell music by it's instruments? the dark and raw power of the 70s and 80s, combined with sound possiblities of the new millenium gives Metaliano the means to create a style that is possibly unique in it's arrogant, supermacho guitar work, it's incredible melodic metal and the underlying electro and trance elements just how different Metaliano is can be deduced from one single fact: when did you last buy a metal album with 7 tracks only comprising 54'? right? that's the difference... during 2004, a second Metaliano will be coming forth.
