Swisty Speaks on CD

Hi, my name is Melissa Adams (known for a short time as Melissa Schatz) and I was raised in North Dakota, living primarily in the hip city of Fargo. I moved to Rochester, MN in the fall of 1998 and that's when I began to write my own music. I had always been a singer and pianist and involved in theatre growing up, but had never attempted writing on my own until this point. Once I had enough material that I thought was worth recording, I hooked up with Brian Dahl at the Woodshed Recording Studio in Rochester. The project became much bigger than what I'd originally anticipated and had several artists volunteer their time and talents to my album. The outcome was what you have here. A full length album titled 'Swisty Speaks'. During my recording process, I discovered I was pregnant. That, and a troubled marriage, kept things on hold for some time, but now my daughter's older and I'm free to perform and promote myself the way I've always wanted! So....4 years after the fact- HERE IT IS!!!! I hope you enjoy it. I've been in the studio some more lately and am in the process of recording a 4 track mini-CD so look for that soon! If you are in the Rochester area and want to receive email updates of where I'm playing next, please email me at averysmom_290@hotmail.com or check out sempan.com for showtimes. Hugs, Melissa Adams.
