More Than a Girl on CD

'More Than A Girl' is the latest release by girlrocker Jeorgia Anderson. Ten songs written by Jeorgia that rock with her electric guitar and classic arrangements. This CD is produced by LA producer/engineer/musician John Bird and features drummers Victor Indrizzo (Redd Kross, Vines, Beck) and Ninja Mike Billington (Ninja Custodian) and Nicky Beat (Weirdos, LA Guns). This CD was not created in a computer and contains no Pro Tools, autotune, samples, or any digital crap that has ruined music, studios, art, and modern life. Jeorgia is a living artist performing and recording as the Mechanical Bride since 1984. Her wild psychedelic TV show Mechanical Bride Television has been on every week since 1993 in Los Angeles CA on public access on Adelphia and Comcast cable. Jeorgia started playing guitar in the San Francisco punk rock all girl band VS. In 1978 (that was started by Olga de Volga after she left The Offs and before she went to The Lewd.) Jeorgia can be seen on the cover of the punk rock photo book 'X-Capees' and in 'Hardcore California' and 'We're Desperate'. She has appeared in SF, LA, and NYC in performance art, rock n roll, and underground cinema. Early tap dancing lead to the twist, the watusi, the frug with a tambourine, Beatlemania and then electric guitar. The Mechanical Bride rocks.
