Feghoot of Love on CD

Meat Rainbow was concieved in September of 2003, and truly born in April 2004 when they recorded their debut effort 'Not Intended for the Public.' The record, while a free-give-away deal at the band's high school, did in fact prove popular. In fact, it boosted the confidence of the band's 3 core member's to the point where they decided a sophmore album would be a good idea. And so, after several months the world (or 20 people in the West Chester area) saw the release of 'Meat Rainbow Fights the IRS.' When in the Spring of 2005, Zak Theis, considered the driving musical force in the band announced he was leaving the area for Berklee College of Music, to everyone's surpise the other two members decided to continue making music. Dan Timlin and Sam Brams spent days building a studio in Dan's basement, christening it 'Black Jack Studios.' They also changed the name of their record label and then by summer started rehearsing new material. Working with a few friends, new and old, they spent their summer recording the newest collection - Feghoot of Love. With 'Feghoot' the band has covered some new ground. Not only is the disc hilarious, it also holds some 'serious' songs. With such brilliant moments as 'Don't Jump On My Mama,' 'Sex As A Weapon' and 'A Brother To Me' - and even sillier moments ('I Ain't No Savage'), we hope you enjoy it.
