There's Something in Your Silence on CD

Biography Matt has been playing and singing since he was about 14 years old. It started when he picked up his guitar one day and learned 'Come As You Are.' Then he started learning Chords and putting them together. It wasn't long before he could play just about anything on the radio - from Hootie and the Blowfish, to Led Zeppelin. By high school, he was singing and playing at the local youth group in Derry NH, which served as his first 'performing' type experience. While at college in Virginia, Matt conjured a few different groups of musicians in order to play various talent shows and competitions, playing sometimes to crowds of over 4000. Upon moving back home to New Hampshire, Matt joined up with a few of his buddies from high school and they got some original songs together and played a few shows. One of them at Davis College in NY led to them almost getting arrested, for doing a photo shoot in an abandoned asylum. Had it been more than 18 degrees outside, the cops might have been more inclined to do the paperwork and haul ten kids downtown - they had a little entourage. Matt Lindstrom's songwriting has been compared by A-lister production manager Christopher Gratton (Guns n' Roses, Ben Harper, Smashing Pumpkins, Limp Bizkit, Korn) to that of Bob Dylan, and Tom Waits. For someone his age to be writing with this kind of depth is a sure promise of great things to come.
