No One Is a Nobody on CD

Singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist, Mark Boucot wrote, sang and played all of the instruments on this CD release titled 'No One Is A Nobody' on InterZone Records. Along with playing guitar, bass and drums and keyboards, Mark also plays the auto harp, mountain dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, recorder, sitar, and various percussion instruments. This release blends psychedelic aural interludes and well crafted pop music that features guest appearances by Pete Wain on sitar and flute, DJ Puzzle on synthesizer effects and Kuldip Bhatt playing tabla and percussion. What makes Mark truly unique is the way that he uses his musical gifts for humanitarian efforts. For example, the proceeds from all of his CD sales and live performances have been donated to charities such as Project Hope, which provides medical, nutritional and social services to the homeless in the City of Camden NJ. So far, he's raised over $10,000 for various charities! Notwithstanding these efforts, his musical accomplishments are many: on this CD release, "No One Is A Nobody," he presents the songs in a bracingly singular vision. He's played sold out shows at the Tin Angel and The Hinge in Philadelphia; made appearances at World Café Live and performed a live internet simulcast from CBGB's Gallery in NYC. His live radio broadcasts on WXPN 88.5 in Philadelphia, Z88.9 in Trenton, NJ, were well received and his music has been featured on WSTW 93.7 in Delaware and on college radio stations all over the US and Europe. He's been featured in the New York Times, The Courier Post, The Gloucester County Times, CMJ, the XPN Newsletter, Burlington County Times, The Roanoke Times, and The City Paper in Philadelphia.
