Sauve en Jazz on CD

Margery Lee Sauvé is a 25 year veteran of Jazz, Dance, and Theatre with international tours in Europe, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and North America. An accomplished musician/vocalist Margery creates a fun, strong presense both on and offstage, she has enjoyed success both as a performer and teacher of Jazz vocals, dancing, and composition. Her recent album, "SAUVE EN JAZZ", and tour performances have garnered praise both at home and abroad. She has recently been in her San Fransisco studio laying down tracks for her third and fourth albums, to be released over the next year. Her "Sold in Hawaii Only" C.D. is in final negotiation to be released in 2007, soon to be available only in Hawaii and on CDBABY.com. Margery is an "A" list, high energy bebop jazz writer/performer that is now the best "jazz-scat" vocalist you can find today. She is truly an American National Treasure. Your jazz colection is not complete until you own any of Margery Sauve's works. ENJOY !! This album was done by Margery after 10 long years of recovery from a Traumatic Brain Injury and subsequent onset of Multiple Sclerosis. She had to learn to walk again and Jazz was her soulfood. She still works hard daily to maintain her mobility and brain functions: constant, daily work are memorizing, concentration and often, "Where ARE those pesky car keys?" The simplest tasks take on new meanings w/ a brain injury. She has always loved her music and her friends and so feels particularly blessed to be able to record with them, to create this CD for you.
