Description

Dedicated on CD

In 1997, Heath Coppock, Anthony Ferrentino, Alan Roble, and a friend began a musical collaboration, which became the force known as Malcontent. From this union of musicians, and friends, Malcontent embarked on a campaign to take the world by storm. This movement to bring their innovatingly powerful music to the masses has seen the band tour extensively from Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe. The advent of the new millennium saw the addition of Dave Ferreira on drums. Always looking to further their musical sound, Malcontent brought in Mike Ferreira to enhance the already tight unit by way of samples and 808's. With the line up set, and their sophomore recording 'Dedicated' in tow, Malcontent continued their crusade to bring their unique and explosive style of music to the globe. Audiences have come to expect an energetic and volatile show from this Vacaville-Fairfield based band. Malcontent's blend of hardcore guitar riffs, melodic bass lines, hard hitting percussion and samples set the foundation for the intense emotionally charged vocals. Often said to be the hardest working band by their peers, Malcontent consistently creates music that makes you think as well as making your head bob. Malcontent, meaning never satisfied, is the perfect name for this quintet that strives to push the envelope of musical creativity every time they take the stage.
