Heroes & Villains of San Antonio on CD

The Rodriguez brothers live a hard life in South San Antonio. In a world that seems filled with the ghosts of good men and evil everywhere, Benny can find no greater hero than his older brother Devante, who in the absence of an incarcerated father, has always taken care of him. On Benny's seventeenth birthday, Devante is the victim of an attack in the drug-infected slum known as the Heaters. Seeing the only good man in his world defeated enrages Benny, who decides it is time to finally become his brother's keeper. But what will Benny's decision reveal about himself and the heroes and villains in his life? HEROES AND VILLAINS OF SAN ANTONIO is the second full length release by The Locomotive Espada. Written in order from beginning to end, the music moves with the story to create a continuous flow of rock & roll insanity. Drawing upon film scoring techniques, themes appear and repeat, building upon each other until the climatic ending. But never fear, the band is sure to serve up plenty of catchy melodies and ridiculous riffs to sink your teeth into. THE LOCOMOTIVE ESPADA is a group of five college students from New York. Through growing up together, they have developed a distinctive sound that allows them to stand out at any show they play. After recording their new album by themselves in various apartments and classrooms, they are anxious to get out and share their sound with as many people as they can.
