Little Sister on CD

Little sista is a band made up of five incredibly talented sisters: Andrea, Michal, Camille, Cara and Erin. They are powered by a driving five piece band, consisting of their brother Darryl Henry ( guitar, keyboards ), brother-in-law, Ray Williams ( bass ), Cassondra Henry, their niece ( guitar ) and two additional members, Cal Popejoy (guitar) and Rick Friedman on drums and percussion. Little Sista burst onto the LA music scene in 1995 with original sound, that they call Rock and Soul, which appeals to Rock and R&B audiences alike. The First big break for Little Sista as a group was when the went from playing local coffee houses to the larger venues in such Hollywood hot spots as Luna Park, Viper Room, Troubadour, Key Club, Whiskey, Mint, Hard Rock Café, and the House of Blues. Our music is a celebration of harmonies drawn from the influences of classic rock and soul artistry', says Little Sista member, Andrea. 'The live show is what we really enjoy', says Little Sista member Cara. In 1999, came their most celebrated song, 'Black Girl', which was featured on MTV's 'The Cut', and also on 97.1 with Sheena Metal and Johnny B both in LA and Chicago. The critics have called Little Sista's live shows 'close to perfection, with high energy harmonies and guitar driven songs that blend together for a heart stopping show that leaves audiences spellbound. Whom can be compared to the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Macy Gray'. ( Music Connection & Rock City News)
