Leah Delight Schade has been performing with the harp for thirty years. Originally from York, Pennsylvania, she is a summa cum laude graduate of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, where she received her Bachelor's degree in mass communication. Leah has worked with various orchestras throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia, and is served as the harpist for the Delaware County Symphony Orchestra. She has performed at the William Penn Inn, and has played for Tea at The Four Seasons, the St. Regis, and The Ritz hotels in downtown Philadelphia. She performs for weddings, receptions, parties, church services, funerals, and special events, and her repertoire spans the genres of classical, sacred, contemporary, jazz, standards, country, pop, and folk music. Leah also teaches harp and piano lessons privately, and performs in a jazz combo with her husband, drummer, Jim Schade. Leah received her Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia in 2000, and is in the PhD program, expecting to finish her dissertation in preaching in ecotheology and preaching in 2014. She is the Pastor at United in Christ Lutheran Church in West Milton, PA, near Lewisburg.
