I Was There When the Spirit Came on CD

15 tracks of LD Frazier live, singing and playing the piano in church. 'LD was on great form that day - a fantastic recording' Scott Stroman LD Frazier was born in Cleveland and grew up in Buffalo and Los Angeles. He moved to Detroit where he sang with the harmomy group Richard Green's Acapells. LD then moved to New York to study piano and singing. After working as a funk jazz singer for a while, in 1974 LD decided to devote his life to full-time gospel singing. From his base in New York, LD takes his gospel show throughout the world. LD has sung in Brazil, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Egypt and Europe as well as regular visits to the United Kingdom. For over 30 years LD has toured the world with his witness in song, and has inspired whole generations of singers through workshops and concerts. 'This recording captures the belief & faith generated by LD Frazier in a live performance in church.' John Levett, the executive producer LD Frazier (vocals / grand piano) is joined on some tracks by... Scott Stroman (vocals / choir direction) Malcolm Creese (bass) Patrick Levett (drums) Eclectic Voices (choir) Scott Stroman's conducts and composes for choirs and orchestras in all styles of classical, folk, contemporary, jazz and gospel music.
