Part of Me on CD

Larry Perry is a serious guitar player with the riffs to prove it. If you like a blues/rock style, you need to check him out. Also, his songwriting skills are becoming well known with songs about the changes in his life through faith in God. Larry Perry has been playing music in the Austin area since 1980, trying his hand at various styles including rock, blues, jazz, jazz-fusion, and country/rock, all the while continuing to write songs and develop his own style on guitar. He has played with different bands through the years, honing his craft as a guitar player. After committing his life to Jesus Christ, his songwriting took on new meaning while incorporating the style of his musical roots. Some of Larry's influences include The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, and Phil Keaggy. Looking back to his younger years, he recalls a life of alcohol and drug use that caused him to get sidetracked, living life one day at a time not planning for any meaningful future. Larry now uses his talents for the Lord and wants to proclaim the changes that are possible through faith in Christ. "I've made some terrible choices in my life that I truly regret, but God has never given up on me and continues to bless me in many ways," states Larry. Larry resides in Austin, Texas and plays guitar with the worship team at his church. His goal is to take the Gospel to the world through music.
