Jesus, Son of Mary on CD

Jesus, Son of Mary The songs on this CD were written, orchestrated and sung by Larry Bisso, and were inspired by Dr. Robert H. Schuller, founding pastor of The Crystal Cathedral, in Garden Grove, CA, and The Hour of Power, which airs weekly all over the world. www.crystalcathedral.org Dr. Schuller's influence on Larry's life goes back to 1972, which includes the reading of all of Dr. Schuller's books. Larry is proud to say that he is an eleven time Crystal Cathedral Eagle and Golden Eagle's Club member. Larry and his wife Lori were married by Dr. Schuller, at The Crystal Cathedral, on September 28, 1997. Several years ago Dr. Schuller was giving one of his positive and inspiring messages in which he explained that Tough Times Never Last, But Tough People Do, which is the title of one of his inspiring books. Dr. Schuller shouted, 'Hallelujah Anyway' suggesting that even though times are tough you can still be thankful and praise God, because God has a bigger plan for you in your life. It was in that very moment that Dr. Schuller's; 'Hallelujah Anyway' inspired Larry to write this album. 'Doing an Inspirational Christian album was a new adventure for me. It was my chance to give back what God had given me, the gift of music, but this time it was for the glory of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I was a struggling musician who crisscrossed the U.S. playing in smoked filled bars and clubs for 24 years. Dr. Schuller saved my life on a dreary Sunday morning in 1972 while I sat on an old broken down bed, in a dingy motel room', says Larry. Larry is an alumnus of the world famous Berklee College of Music, in Boston where he was a music education and piano performance major from 1965 through 1969. He studied with the great jazz musicians and educators Phil Wilson, Charlie Mariano, John LaPorta, Herb Pomeroy, Boston Pops Drummer, Fred Budda, and the writer and composer for the television show 'Alf', Mr. Alf Clauson.
