Kulture on CD

'KULTURE' is a collection of work that I've been working on for the past 5 years or so. I wanted to put an album together that would give the listener a well rounded idea of the musical tastes and genres that I emulate, mix and cross together. I draw from many styles and production techniques that although fall under electronic music has a much deeper scope than just one style, genre or technique. The recordings are 44.1khz and you can really hear the clarity of the music over the mp3 encoded previews. My Alias 'Kryptonic' and music has been featured in small independent and industrial films all over the world. Multi-media CD Roms (Cozo Speakers), books and on MTV. Since my inception on internet ('99), I have amassed over 1,000,000 downloads (mp3.com) and have made the top 10 in several genres of music ranging from film music, dark techno, contemporary, progressive trance and even the classical music genre. My music has been featured in a book (I want my MP3 by Bill Mann), MTV's 'making the video' (Janet Jackson). I get requests to have my music used on websites and short films shown from film projects in Amsterdam to DJ's in Ireland to websites in Australia. The requests come from the most unlikely of places to ask me for permission to use my music; an MD from Japan asked me if he could use one of my pieces of music for one of his industrial movies; Dr. from Germany asked to use my music in a world wide power point presentation that he was working on... And the list goes on. Some reviews on 'Dreamweaver' just one of the songs on 'Kulture'... 'Has a subtle if somewhat understated beat that forms the basis of an almost mellifluous melody. The piano successfully and beautifully augments the nearly transcendent but ostenato bass line. The strings provide a great swelling and movement to take us on this musical journey through the sonosphere, every Aspect of this piece has been well and thought out and integrated into an enjoyable trippy kind of song.' - presinator Sydney, Nsw, Australia February 9th, 2005 ........ 'Stunning! This is one of the best Ambient-Electric songs I've ever heard! The piano sound so great and chilled out, there's not 1 part of it I don't like. I LOVE IT!!' - Techno_7 Skovby, Jylland, Denmark April 24th, 2005 .... 'Oh Yeah... The intro is beautiful. Nice sequencing and choice of sounds. The mood is really good. Love the slow attack strings. The arrangement is done thousands of times before, but well in this track/case well thought out. The composition is done by the book and therefore ok, but lacks surprising elements. The strings are the hook, sounds, mixing and the programming. Nice job. This will be outstanding for television, documentaries and background music. Very good! Keep making this stuff!' - pbakkenist Leimuiden, Z. Holland, Netherlands April 26th, 2005 ........ 'Enlightening You know, the only time I like New Age sounding music is when it's done right. Whether or not that was the intention here, it was done right. I like how this song is structured and flows. Very appealing and relaxing. It even holds dark under tones with the synth riffs and drums, but the overall mood is very pleasing. Clear pianos and production gives this track a thumbs up.' - bfjproductions Las Vegas, Nevada April 26th, 2005.
