Unseen on CD

News: The project was recently ranked #5 on the Top 100 CDs of 2005 by Belgium's AmericanMusic. Tk, and the title release was recently voted 'Song of the Day' on Radio Fedra Stations in Serbia. Now nationwide at college radio, in rotation at both Armed Forces Networks, and currently breaking into the Canadian commercial rock market via Ottawa and Edmonton, Unseen is seeing a lot of airplay! Bio: Industry veterans are praising Kirsten Davies' performance bravado as, 'Some of the strongest, starkest vocal delivery since Ann Wilson.' Entrenched in the diverse Nashville music scene, this fiery Canadian Rock artist has been traveling North America on guest appearances, songwriting with fellow artists for cuts in multiple genres, and gracing the stages and studios of New York, Nashville, and LA. Now, armed with her debut release Unseen, Kirsten Davies is on the verge of widespread notoriety. Kirsten has performed since the tender age of 5, being classically trained in both voice and piano. Slotted early in her classical training and performances as a lyric soprano, Kirsten spent much of her early singing years with arias and in chamber choirs. But, when Kirsten began training with a punk-rock vocalist and coach in LA in, her 4+ octave voice was soon harnessed into an audio event that goes from a whisper to a scream, a whistle tone to a dB meter-bending belt. Over the years, both classically and in rock, she has spent many consecutive months on the road touring Northern America and Europe. Kirsten's musical resume speaks of her diversity and depth. In the last three years, she has co-written a radio single and album cuts with R&B artist JC (Simplex Productions, NY) and Chris Emmerson (Monomoy Records, Boston), as well as contributed to writing projects with Stacy Widelitz (of 'She's Like the Wind' fame), Paul Taylor (formerly of Alice Cooper band and Winger), Katie Cook (CMT hostess and Curb recording artist), Lauren Lucas (Warner Nashville artist), Terence Dover (of Avril Lavigne and Vanessa Carlton fame), and many others.
