Good Company on CD

Kirk Wheeler's music works under the principal that the whole is a sum of it's parts.  The son of an air-force officer, Kirk was born in Montana, but lived in Colorado, Hawaii, England and Virginia before ending up a the University of North Texas to study music.  Eventually receiving a Film Degree, Kirk interned in a 24-track recording studio and moved to - where else? - Los Angeles to work in sound for Film & TV.  However, his travels and love of the music he heard growing up - Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, The Kingston Trio, and even a shot of Abba thanks to Mom & Dad - soon steered him back to music.   Kirks' first release in 1997 was as Jitterwheel.  NOTHING TO CARRY was the sound of a young artist finding his voice.  Airplay in Sweden and Australia was the impetuous to record PELICAN SOUP in 1999 under his own name, and even shoot a video for that release's 'Butterfly In Chains.'   2002 saw Kirk's new excursion as a 'band.'
