All Year Long on CD

Kings Highway Inspired by the hope and renewal of the Christmas season, guitarist/songwriter, Craig Benelli and producer/songwriter, Frank Di Minno formed Kings Highway and embarked on a project that would take almost three years to complete. The result is All Year Long, a collection of original Christmas songs, produced by Di Minno, that focus on the miracle of the nativity and the struggle of rediscovering that miracle in today's world. Recruiting the talents of such musicians as pianist, Jon Cobert (John Lennon, Tom Chapin), bassist, Tony Tino (Ronnie Spector, Anne Heaton), and drummer, Chris Benelli (Edie Carey, Steve Tannen), the two deliver their message within a wide variety of musical styles ranging from modern rock to African/Gospel music. 'It was important to us that each song take the listener on a journey to a different place' says Di Minno. For this reason, the two also chose to have a different vocalist on each one of the nine songs. Dee Carstensen, Greg Tannen, Diva Grey, Shelton Becton and Dave Pettigrew are just some of the vocalists who are featured on All Year Long. With their release, Benelli and Di Minno, hope to bring the importance of the Christmas miracle to a younger generation of listeners who may wonder how their lives can be affected by such a miracle two thousand years later. As Benelli says 'These songs were not written to answer that question, but rather inspire the listeners to search for the answer themselves'. Kings Highway continues to play live shows throughout the East Coast and has begun writing for their second release.
