Out of Season on CD

From the depths of the valley comes King (aka King Staf K'Netic), the MC from Upstate New York determined to put his world on the map. King was born and raised in Utica, New York, an urban center on the cusp of obscurity, located midway between New York and Buffalo. Teaming up with ILL-ANT Entertainment and producers Wicz and Chaoz, King (formerly of the group Nosta) was able to find a vehicle that could deliver his theme music and make it resonate from the street corners to the clubs. In August of 2002, ILL-ANT released Nosta's debut single The Fast b/w Nosta Anthem. These tracks gave the gudience a preview of the hunger King has for success and his testament to bring up hip-hop back to the people. One year later, Welcome to the U was released. This ten-track EP is a lyrical journey into the life, stuggle and realities of Upstate, NY. Now in 2007, King goes solo and delivers his music far beyond Utica with Wicz produced songs like Put It In Da Air, Break'm off...Hot!, Crush and the vividly descriptive They Say I'm Country, a track that chronicles everyday life in Upstate, NY. Also, King validates his existence on the self-titled KING produced by long time collaborator Chaoz. When it comes live shows, King is no stranger to the stage either. Not only does he tour on his own, but he's also performed with artists such as Kanye West, Fabolous, Beanie Seigal, Joe Budden, Dip Set, 3LW, Black Roband most recently Fat Joe, Twista and Lil' Flip.
