City So Cold on CD

This singer songwriter has been under the radar for far too long. His intelligent lyrics will make you listen to them over and over. Keith is acoustic, electric, distortion pedal, and hum.... This music will stick in your head and you'll like it! Who is Keith? Keith was born in a smallish rural community outside of Toronto. He was given a guitar instead of a teddy bear when he was born, and so instead of playing doctor with the other kids... Keith sat with his guitar and played standards such as Tom Dooley, Camp town races and Volga Boatman (don't ask..) Then when he turned 11 he tossed his guitar under his bed, vowing never to play it again. This could have been tragic except.... Upon entering high school, in a strange turn of events, Keith noticed that guys that played guitar were pretty popular, so he chiseled the dust off his acoustic axe and learned how to play Hotel California - making him an instant hit at parties. While learning Hotel California, he played a bunch of wrong chords and sang a bunch of lyrics that weren't in the original song. This collection of mistakes soon became his first bunch of sickly sweet love songs that he pawned off on various girls in a vain attempt to get a date before his senior prom. The rest as they say is history... In 1993 Keith recorded a 5 song EP cassette with the help of Doug 'Fury' McCarvell and others, called 'The Turn'. Keith then returned to University for one final semester - playing 'the good one' at a number of open mic nights and coffee houses in Windsor. Six years after having started, Keith received his Bachelor of Arts in a secret graduation ceremony (we have been unable to find any living witnesses). In 1996, Keith recorded his second collection of songs a 13 song cassette called 'Songs from a Black Notebook'. To our knowledge, although about 100 or more of these cassettes were purchased, none are still in existence. The track list (in case you find one of these gems....) included such songs as 'Two beaches' and 'what darkness shows' In 1998, Keith released his debut CD 'City So Cold'. The CD release happened at a Polish hall in Brantford Ontario and was attended by about 200 people....most of them related to Keith in some way. In his spare time, Keith has also played with Fresh Eire and most recently, Celtic Cross; both well known Irish bands in Toronto, Ontario. Keith is currently working on his next recording projects called 'the hostage' and 'paranormal sunrise'.
