Long Days Journey on CD

A LONG DAYS JOURNEY Keary Keefer - Vocals & Acoustic Guitar Ron Enos - Electric Guitars & Snyth Ray Rosales - Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals Frank Ortega - Drums & Percussion WHEELS-- Introduces us to our character sojourn and a brief description of his personality. The drifter, never in one place too long, not looking for any lasting relationship. The classic loner who enjoys adventure. AMERICAN DREAM - A glimpse of his past childhood, family and the challenges they presented. It is interesting to note that our character did the right thing and was there for his brother. Despite his brothers' disabilities and the responsibility it entailed. REDEMPTION - Through his efforts and strength of character he is redeemed. For that matter, we all could benefit soul wise from a little redemption. THE KEEPER - At a brief stop in a coffee shop he is mesmerized by a painting that hangs on the wall. The people depicted tell a story and somehow he identifies with them. There is some connection as if he has been there before. CHLOE - There is an overlook at the end of a highway. There he discovers a plaque with a tribute inscribed to a female named Chloe. After reading it, he once again feels a familiarity, an odd connection. Another piece to the puzzle in his long days' journey. BIG EASY - A moment in time. This extremely devastating natural catastrophe affected his sensibility. He interjects his view point and as he witnesses the devastation first hand. It appears he is there shortly after the storm has ended. TWENTY-FOUR HOURS - Along the road, there are moments when isolation and desperation set in. Loneliness does strange things to the mind. Self doubt is something we all have to deal with. LORD KNOWS - You meet all kinds of people on the road, for that matter in life. We do not always know the contents of one's heart, but there is ONE who always knows our heart and where it is. END OF THE DAY - Our journeyman is at the end of his road. Weary of the road and weary of people in general. STATE OF MIND - Our subject has had a long days' journey, or has he? Just maybe he hallucinated the entire experience. He may just be an average guy, with an average home and family. Is this all he needs.........? Sometime a simple life can be the most fulfilling. One thing is certain he doesn't have time for charlatans or hypocrites. One understands you don't have to journey any further than your backyard to have an awakening, spiritually, physically or mentally. At times life can throw a lot of curves at you, and our search for meaning can be a long road. What may appear as a long road can be greatly shortened when you learn to appreciate a simple life.
