Changes on CD

It's been said that some people are born to sing. That is the only explanation for the pure soul and sound of Kameela. As the offspring of a Funk guitar player and a Jazz singer, she has a natural tone that resonates through each melody she sings. Kameela's debut project Changes, captures the moments that we all go through in relationships and delivers them in a way that speaks to all who listen. This singer/songwriter from Raleigh, NC, has recently relocated to the New York metropolitan area to pursue her musical career. Changes, recorded in Brooklyn, is the product of that journey to pursue a dream. She has been performing since her first melodic cries as a baby, to school shows and some professional theatre work. Kameela along with her husband Matthew a.k.a "Complexx" have created a new independent label and production company called Cookie Jar Productions© under which Changes will be released. Kameela also collaborates with Hip-Hop Producer Mic El of VisionAries Music, a producer/m.c. from the Bronx. This team creates a new sound when hip-hop beats from The Bronx meet the deep soul of The South. Along with tracks by Complexx and additional appearances by Mic El and N.I.C.E., Changes is definitely a must have in your music collection. After a long wait, it's now time for Kameela to show the world what she has to offer. The Changes album is just the first chapter in a story left to tell...
