Live in Studio, Vol. 1 features contemporary Island songs that offers soothing vocals but plenty of uplifting energy. The story begins in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the beautiful, tropical island of Oahu. Johnny recalls listening to his Dad along with his maternal grandmother, Carmelita DeMello, sing and entertain family and friends with countless Hawaiian, Hapa Haole, Katchi Katchi, and Chalang-a-lang music throughout his life. To Johnny, growing up on the island was natural.
