Red Eyez on CD

Child interrupted! Jezt Bryan enthralled and impassioned by hip-hop sought to gain the respect of Detroit underground crews that included the likes of Eminem, Royce The 5'9, D12, Hush, The Eastside Chedda Boyz, and Slum Village by ambitiously writing flows to top what existed on the Detroit underground scene. 'I didn't want to be accepted by these guys, I wanted to be better than these guys', Jezt Bryan recalls of his relationship with the underground scene. At the ripe young age of 15, Jezt produced his own album as part of the hip-hop group Mafioso. 'In their debut independent release, one of many such endeavors from a growing local community of hip-hop artists, the pair shows the promise to become a nationally known act' is what City View Magazine said of the young duo. The duo went on to sell all 500 copies of their debut release. Jezt Bryan's decision to go solo is one he made to nurture his growth into not only a widely respected MC but to fuel his aspiration of becoming, one of the best. The buzz that Jezt Bryan created for being a young, able producer and writer prompted offers from dozens of local labels. 'I told the labels that I just sold out of all my albums that I released independently, what did I need them for?' Jezt Bryan recalls of his thoughts of signing with a local label. It has been a constant struggle for Jezt Bryan to fund his projects but his determination will not allow him to quit. Today Jezt Bryan is well known locally; being called the 'Red Eyed' rapper by many because of the red contacts he wears on stage. As many anticipate another solo release by the 'Red Eyed' rapper a list has been generated of over 400 people who simply can't wait. Much of the list was generated from his Chicago performance. In Chicago, Jezt was invited to open for super R&B group 112 where he received a standing ovation from many in the audience. Jezt Bryan has performed in Gunatanamo Bay, Cuba for the American troops stationed there. He was also slated to perform with platinum artist Fabolous in Chicago. Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, Van-Ally Inc. MUZIK presents...Jezt Bryan. A legend is born.
