This is Jeff Talmadge's sixth and newest release, and the follow up to 'Blissville'. 'predictably strong... thematically pure.' -- Buddy Magazine (US) 'A worthy addition to the Americana/roots canon' -- Birmingham Post (UK) 'One of the better songwriter discs of the year.' -- Dutch Roots Radio (NL) Since his 1999 debut CD, Secret Anniversaries (described by one reviewer as a "nearly perfect recording"), each of Jeff's recordings has received extraordinary reviews and extensive radio airplay. Blissville, first released in Europe, debuted at No. 2 on the EuroAmericana Chart and reached No. 1 on the Roots Music Report in the U.S. The Americana audience responded, and Blissville remained on the Americana Chart for three months. His songs have also been recorded by numerous other artists. His story songs and finger picking guitar style, in the tradition of other well-known Texas songwriters, have been heard on everything from the Judy Collins holiday radio special that aired throughout the U.S. to NPR's Car Talk. When Gravity, Grace and the Moon was released in 2003 in the U.S. on Bozart Records it was described in SingOut! Magazine as "a masterpiece," and he was soon signed to Europe-based Corazong Records. Jeff's wide-ranging experiences permeate his songs. He has been a janitor, a Capitol Hill Congressional press secretary, an associate baseball scout for a major league team, a published poet, a seminary student, a board-certified lawyer and an award-winning songwriter. 'At Least That Much Was True' was produced by Bradly Kopp, and features his talent on bass, percussion, acoustic and electric guitar, and backing vocals. Other contributers to this record include: Rand McCullough (backing vocals), Tim Thompson (acoustic and electric guitar), Lloyd Maines (dobro and steel guitar), Richard Bowden (fiddle), Rich Brock (harmonica), Chip Dolan (accordion), David Webb (keyboards), Leon Medica (bass), and John Gardner (drums and percussion).
