Kiss on the Wind on CD

____ From articles on JM Guitarist/Singer Jeannie Marie has just released her first album 'Kiss On The Wind' and she is excited about it. The pretty, dark-haired entertainer is well-known to the patrons of the Pour House in Marsing as well as numerous venues around the nation. A native of Ft. Worth, she played drums in high school but had no formal musical training. 'I just picked it up,' she laughed. She picked it up well enough to preform in such major country-western nightspots as the Crazy Horse Steak House in Newport Beach, CA, The Palomino in Los Angeles, CA, The White Elephant Saloon, in Ft. Worth, Texas and other clubs and restaurants. Jeannie Marie released one other record in the early eighties, 'Decorate The Night' to 1,200 radio stations through out the country and it got quite a bit of play but since it was a Christmas song it was only out there for one month. She said friends still hear it once in a while during the holidays in Ft. Worth. Why did she stop traveling and stay in Idaho? 'I just got tired of the nightclub scene. Same people, different faces.' she said. 'Thought I would just stay in one place for a while.' She seems to like it but said she also longs to travel occasionally. She is a terrific singer and does really fine things with folk and country tunes. Like most good singers, Jeannie Marie has some original tunes which she has included on the album, the title song being one of them as well as the zippy tune, 'I've Got Ramblin' Fever'. Which makes me want to get in the car and go somewhere. Good luck Jeannie Marie, we are all behind you.
