HISTORY HAS BECOME AUDIBLE Jean-Jacques KRAVETZ is an ancestor of the German rock scene. Kravetz was born in Paris in 1947. He studied from 1960 to 1965 at the Paris Conservatory CNSMDP Alto Sax and Piano. During this time he founded his first band. In 1967 he moved to Hamburg.He became member of the bands THE CITY PREACHERS with INGA RUMPF and UDO LINDENBERG. 1969 this band split in FRUMPY one of the best German rock bands ever. Above all, 'Frumpy 2' has now achieved cult status. It was especially Kravetz playing Hammond B3, the unique sound of FRUMPY coined. After three studio and one live album Frumpy ended in 1973. Later Inga Rumpf and J.J. Kravetz formed the band ATLANTIS. The members of ATLANTIS where the crème de la crème of the German Rocks: Frank Diez, Curt Cress, Dieter Born Schlegel, Alex Conti, KH Schott, Udo Lindenberg and Kravetz. This album, 'Jubilé - 40 years of rock music' is a reprint of the musical life story of JJ Kravetz. All songs were recorded by the original members of the old bands in a relaxed session in the summer of 2007. Seven are classics, plus three new songs together with his son Pascal. TRACKLIST 01.
