Kelley, Jamie Aaron : Heart & Soul of Rock 'N' Roll-Premiere Edition
- Artist: Jamie Aaron Kelley
- Format: CD
- Release Date:2/24/2009
Released October of 2008 to coincide with the World Premiere of his show (of the same name) in Toronto and Tokyo, this album showcases him as an ever-growing, ever-diversifying artist - with everything from Country, Blues, Rock, Rockabilly, even Easy Listening! When you look at the tracks on this CD, you'll see that it's a fitting disc for Jamie's 25 years in music (as of January, 2008) - you'll hear everything: from the softer sounds that recall his first CD "Unfinished Business" to the bouncy Rockabilly sound of "The Sun Also Rises" volumes... even several songs (some modernized, some done "the old fashioned way") made famous by Jamie's biggest musical and artistic influence, Elvis Presley. Between 2006 and 2008, Jamie had been planning this new show - carefully selecting songs as well as the visual effects to bring out the feeling and emotion of each song. As this planning and selection continued, he knew that there were a number of songs that he had never done before. Further, songs he'd been performing live were taking new sounds and shapes with each performance, like "Suspicious Minds" and "Come What May." When all these songs were put together, an album's worth of solid songs remained, and they are the tracklist on this CD. From early March to mid-October, each stage of the recording, mixing, mastering, and preparation was handled with care - to make this Jamie's best album yet. This CD is the special 'World Premiere Edition', and features a 12-page booklet in full color, with pictures, Jamie's notes on the songs, as well as the program for the Toronto show. We hope you will enjoy Jamie's newest CD - "The Heart And Soul Of Rock 'N' Roll!" NOTE: Again, the song selection and track order are especially selected to be a 'soundtrack' to Jamie's new show production of the same name. Only 1,000 CDs were pressed, and under 200 remain - so be sure to purchase your own copy of this CD before they're all gone.
