Description

After the Rain on CD

'After the Rain' has some of the old '70s Southern California Polish to it. The highlights include 'I'm Daddy Now,' Tempchin's reflection on the life of his father, a retired milkman, and his own growing sense of responsibility as the father of a young son. That song and 'Big Sky Country,' with it's country-boy-flees-the-big-city motif, sound like natural prospects for the contemporary country market.' - L.A. TIMES Classic Folk-Rock from a writer for the Eagles, delivering all the grit and heart of the 70's. Jack's good pal Glenn Frey contributed greatly to this project, producing and performing on tracks and co-writing two songs: 'Blue Flame' and 'On The Loose'. This CD also features Jack's 1993 rendition of 'Slow Dancing (Swayin' To The Music)' With Glenn Frey, Timothy B. Schmit, John David Souther and David Crosby on background vocals. His longtime band The Seclusions, after playing at the Palamino in L.A. for two years, made this record with him. This album was produced by the Robb Brothers at Cherokee Studios in L.A. It is a record of a real band, playing real music. QUOTES ABOUT Jack Tempchin 'He's a great songwriter. He paints pictures with simple words.
