Watch Out!!! the Beginning on CD

Joshua Latif Adams was born July 27, 1984 as the youngest of twelve talented siblings. His musical career officially began at the age of seven in the group 'Four at a Time', which also featured his brother and two of his nephews. Blessed with many talents but no formal training, Joshua taught himself to play the piano by ear. While performing throughout the southern United States, Joshua captured the interest of James Prince, CEO and President of Rap-a-lot Records. Prince in turn called his cousin Devin Henderson, President of MoDev Records. Soon the youthful artist now dubbed J-Boi was introduced to platinum producer Bobby Jones, known for his work with industry greats Mary J. Blige, Bone Thugz-n-Harmony, and Faith Evans. Following a year and a half stint of studio sessions, MoDev Records was presented a full-length CD ready for release. With the album set to debut in early 2005, J-Boi introduces himself to the world with hard-hitting lyrics drawn from personal life experiences. Similar to his idol Jay-Z, J-Boi rarely writes anything down, resulting in a debut album consisting mainly of powerful freestyles. Packed with classic hip-hop beats, the freshman release features collaborations with the group I-15 and Lil' J in tracks begging to be blasted from clubs. Could it be destiny? Who's to say? One thing's for certain, J-Boi is here to stay. This young musician, hailed as both a genius and a prodigy, is ready to take his rightful place in the industry that he loves. 'Music is what I breathe every day. Just like you work a 9 to 5...everyday I get up and record, except there's no pay for overtime. I can't see myself doing anything else.' - J-Boi.
