Isaac Castle-Hip Hop Mix on CD

These 6 songs are contain the Hip Hop and R & B selections from My 2 CD's 'Resistance Is Futile' and 'Industrial World' I had written 'Talk To The Hand'back in 1999 and had always intented it to be of a Hip Hop /R & B format, but when I started recording this CD in 2004 I had just finished writting 'Rock The J-Lo' and from the get-go I knew only a Hip Hop style would work. From My Bass playing in My Uncles band and love for R & B and Blanes experience at recording Rap and soul groups We were able to come up with a great Hip Hop flavored song. We did 'Talk to the Hand' the following Week, I had asked Blane if He could do a Guitar Hook simular to the Average White Bands ' Cut the Cake' Blane came up with a great guitar riff and added some heavy cords to go along with it. It was always My intention to put this on My 2nd CD, I rewrote the lyrics to the Crystal Waters hit - Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless) and gave it a Male aspect and called it 'He's Homeless' using the same cord structure as the original. You've Got The Drop also from the first CD is My 'Funky Town' filled with a lot of rhyming one liners. I wrote 'Psychic to Psychic Love' in 1998 and thought it could be a a good song, I asked Blane for a Raegae effect and when it was finished I thought it came out a lot better than I ever imagined it could be. I wrote 'Internet Party' last year it is a song about finding Love and Romance on these internet dating sites. I got together with Blane and wanted a Computer back ground effect like that of Paul Mc Cartneys-'Temporary Secretary' also it is the only song from both CD's that We used a Drum Machine' My 22 year old Son who listens to mostly Rap loved it. Again this special mix the Guitar and back-up vocal are done by Blane Sloan, Roger Baker did the Keybords. Dennis Painter does all the Drums and Pecussion on all the songs except for 'Internet Party' Lee Taylor is the featured Sax Player. And John Sickels is the Guest singer on 'He's Homeless' Blane and Roger are the producers and also did the final Mix. I messed around with the original cover from My 'Resistance Is Futile' CD and came up with the cover you see. I also included a photo of the Band inside the 5 CD's that I sent to CDbaby. I hope the younger generation and those who like Hip Hop music will enjoy this special Mix.
