Hybrige on CD

Hybrige...Remember that name. Hybrige is a rock/alternative band from central Indiana that is quickly building a dedicated fan-base throughout the Midwestern United States. Their music draws from a variety of musical influences and appeals to a broad spectrum of people regardless of generation, race, or culture. But most importantly... their music rocks. Their music speaks for itself, but who is Hybrige? Where did they come from? It all started in the summer of '97 in a small central Indiana town called Greentown. Eddie Navarro, a couple years out of high school, and a friend of his named Aaron Higdon spent a lot of time in Eddie's garage learning popular cover songs. Eddie played drums and Aaron played guitar, but they both decided they needed to find a bass player. That's when they recruited Brad Bogue, then a senior in high school. Soon after Brad joined, he convinced Brett Myers, a classmate of his, to join the band to sing. The four called themselves 7 Days From Now. Aaron, Brett, and Brad ended up going to Purdue University while Eddie stayed at home to work in nearby Kokomo. Throughout the next couple years, 7 Days From Now managed to play several shows in the central Indiana area, playing mostly cover songs and a few originals. These shows were very valuable for the guys, as they honed their musical skills and developed a musical tightness that proved to be very beneficial for them down the road. 1999 brought about some serious changes for the band. Aaron decided he wanted to pursue other interests, so the other three guys were left looking for another band member. They decided to move Brad from bass to guitar and recruited Zach Foland to play bass. Zach fit right in with the others, and the four quickly began to gel. They changed their band name to Hybrige, and their musical focus naturally turned towards original material. Throughout the next several months they put together an impressive collection of original tunes and decided they wanted to record a CD. Brad, an acoustical engineering major at Purdue, happened to be taking a recording class at the time. Despite having practically no experience in recording, the band took full advantage of the free access to the recording studio and put eight of their songs onto CD. They had the CD duplicated and used it as a promotional tool to start obtaining gigs and building a fan base. Throughout this time period, Hybrige repeatedly left crowds of people at bars and parties throughout Indiana amazed that such killer music could be coming out of the cornfields of central Indiana. Today Hybrige is rapidly becoming one of the hottest bands in the Midwestern United States. The intense vocals from Brett Myers, the creative rhythmical guitar riffs from Brad Bogue, and the tight energetic backbone provided by Eddie Navarro and Zach Foland create an infectious musical emotional groove that is winning the support of everybody that hears it. Check them out. They flat out rock.
