How We Do It on CD

Hollowheadz: Straight from Lowesville, North Carolina. Here to present their debut album... HOW WE DO IT. Making music since the early 90s, Hollowheadz remembers developing skills by rhyming over other rappers beats. Back then we didn't have our own instrumentals. We used to gather up as many instrumentals we could find, pick the best ones and write songs to em. I remember when we first started recalls Uel, (member of Hollowheadz). We only had a double tapedeck, mixer, and microphone. When it was time to record you had to be on point, cause everytime you messed up on a verse or didn't record something right you had to stop the instrumental, rewind it, and start all over again. We didn't have a computer back then were you could just start right back up from your mishap . I remember on hot summer days when we used to record in a tiny bedroom, I bet it used to be a thousand degrees in there, well maybe not a thousand but it sho felt like it. We would be in there pouring down with sweat, listening to instrumentals writing, writing, writing trying to come up with the tightest shit. Growing up in a tough, crime invested neighborhood, called THA HELLHOLE, their lyrics are a reflection of their enviroment. Inspired by artist such as tha GETOBOYS, N.W.A., TOO SHORT, NAS, JAY-Z, PAC, AND BIG. Hollowheadz just want to bring that real raw straight wit it style back to the game, holding back nothing! I would describe this album as rough, rugged, and raw. To rate this album and place a comment feel free to do so.
